STANDARD SERVICE PLAN - ANALOG BIKE & ELECTRIC BIKE

The Standard Bike Service Plan is perfect for any cyclist interested in keeping their bike in great riding condition. It's designed for bikes that get low to moderate usage.

Bring your bike in for adjustments as often as you need. We will fix those annoying rattles, adjust brakes so they have full stopping power, lube your chain and cables, and true your wheels if they get out of alignment. Got an electric bike? We'll keep it updated with the latest firmware.

PERFORMANCE SERVICE PLAN - ANALOG BIKE & ELECTRIC BIKE

Is keeping your bike in peak performance important to you? The Performance Service Plan is designed for bikes that get moderate to heavy usage. Do you mountain bike often? Do you commute by bike regularly? Are you a gravel grinder? If yes, this plan is for you.

The Performance Service Plan contains all the elements of the Standard Bike Service Plan, including drivetrain lubrication, wheel truing, brake adjustments, and Di2 firmware updates. It also includes specialty services like disc brake bleed, front suspension oil change, rear shock air can service, and tubeless sealant replacement.

ELECTRIC BICYCLE SERVICE POLICY

ERIK’S will service and support all products we sell, including or in addition to e-bikes with systems from the manufacturers listed below:

  • Specialized Turbo
  • Aventon
  • Bafang
  • Bosch
  • Brose
  • E-Bike Kit
  • Shimano
  • TQ

For safety reasons, we will not service any other brand of electronics, motors, or drives not sold by ERIK'S. We will provide standard (non-electric) service on most bicycles, with some exceptions.

*Please note, service plans do not cover the cost of parts. Only labor is included.

**For these select services, this plan only covers the labor cost if services are done in the months of October through February. Outside of those months, the standard labor charge would apply.

FAQ's

Do the plans include the cost of parts?

No, only labor is included in the plans. All parts will cost extra.

When can I buy a service plan for my bike?

For most bikes, service plans can be purchased within four years of the purchase of your bike.

Is the plan transferable?

No, the plan cannot be transferred to another owner if the bike is sold. The plan cannot be transferred to another bike.

Is the plan renewable?

Yes, plans can be renewed within 60 days of when your original plan expires.

Is the plan valid at any ERIK'S?

Yes, no matter which ERIK'S you purchased your service plan at, bring your bike to your most convenient ERIK'S when you need service.

Does the plan need to be purchased at the time of the bike purchase?

No, ERIK'S Care Service Plans can be purchased up to four years after you purchase your bike.

Can I buy a plan for a bike I bought somewhere else?

No, only bikes purchased from ERIK'S qualify for service plans.

Does the plan include other services like installation of accessories?

No, the plans only cover the services outlined.

Will buying a service plan give my bike priority in the service line?

No, the timeframe for service will not be affected by whether you have a service plan.

Can I get my bike serviced any time of the year?

Most services can be done any time of the year. For a few select Performance Service Plan services, the plan only covers the labor cost if those services are done during the months of October through February. If the service is done outside of those months, the regular service charge will apply.

Can I get service as often as needed?

Most services can be done as often as needed. For a few select Performance Service Plan services, the plan only includes one time per 12 months. (One time total if the plan is one year in length; two times total if the plan is two years in length.) If you need one of these services done a second time, the standard labor charge will apply.

Which bikes qualify for ERIK'S Care Service Plans?

You can purchase one of these service plans for most new bikes. Used bikes do not qualify for the service plans.

FINE PRINT

  • The plan is not transferable to another customer.
  • The plan is not transferable to another bicycle.
  • All products must be physically brought to an ERIK'S location for work. No reimbursements for transportation or work done at non-ERIK'S locations are included.
  • The cost of parts is NOT included. Service plans cover labor only (for example, tires, tubes, tire sealant, and cables are not included).
  • A few select Performance Service Plan services can only be done one time per 12 months of the plan: disc brake bleed, front suspension oil change, rear shock air can service, and tubeless sealant replacement. (Two times total if the plan is two years in length.) If one of these services is needed more frequently, the standard labor charge will apply.
  • A few select Performance Service Plan services can only be done from October through February: disc brake bleed, front suspension oil change, rear shock air can service, and tubeless sealant replacement. If one of these services is needed at other points in the year, the standard labor charge will apply.
  • Service required as a result of misuse/abuse, rental/commercial use, racing, stunt riding or jumping, or alteration is not covered.
  • Service plans are not available to purchase for used bikes and select new bikes.
  • ERIK'S reserves the right to refuse service. The only solution is to refund the unused portion of the purchase price of the service plan.
  • Whether a service or repair is covered under the plan is at the discretion of the management of ERIK'S.
