Kansas City Singletrack Bike Trails
Wyandotte County Lake Park
Often referred to as a “rural retreat in the city,” the Wyandotte County Lake Park offers awesome singletrack for any mountain biker ready to get out in nature. The park features 1,500 acres of wooded area, a large playground, an off-leash dog area, picnic shelters, and more.

Swope Park
The 20-mile-long Swope Trails system was built by Heartland Outside in partnership with Urban Trail Co. It features some awesome singletrack for all levels of mountain bikers. The park includes sweet rolling contours and beautiful limestone bluff sections to keep your senses fully engaged.

Blue River Parkway
Extending 26 miles long, the Blue River Parkway trail offers ample scenic river views and a variety of terrain to keep mountain bikers coming back again and again.

Landahl Park
Rocky climbs, bluff views, invigorating descents, winding wooded paths…oh my! The Landahl Park mountain bike trails in northeastern Jackson County are 20 miles long and don’t disappoint. Mountain bikers of all levels will be inspired by Landahl’s technical and challenging singletrack.

Hidden Valley Park
The Hidden Valley Park trail is four miles long and boasts some amazing views of the valley for visitors. The trail features fun singletrack, river views, scenic bluffs, and an abundance of wildlife and nature.

Shawnee Mission Park
The Shawnee Mission Park nine-mile trail offers a nice mix of flowy and rocky terrain that winds mountain bikers through scenic wooded valleys and nature areas. The park also features a skills trail open to all ages and levels that loops around a rock playground.

Kansas City Paved Bike Trails
Indian Creek Trail
Indian Creek Trail is a paved, 22.5-mile, mostly flat trail located near Olathe, Kansas. It provides road and/or recreational cyclists with miles of open green space to explore year-round.

Tomahawk Creek Trail
The Tomahawk Creek Trail, near Leawood, Kansas, is approximately 10 miles long, paved, and features beautiful prairies, wildflowers, and woodland sections. This trail offers recreational and road cyclists alike a peaceful respite from the noise of the city.

Mill Creek Streamway Trail
The Mill Creek Streamway is a 17-mile, paved, mostly flat, multi-use bike trail that weaves along the historic Mill Creek through forest and lush meadows. If you are looking to enjoy an hour-or-two ride immersed in nature, this is your spot!
