1. Oak Leaf Trail
Oak Leaf Trail is a rails-to-trails path, making it mostly flat and paved with nearly a quarter of the trail running parallel to beautiful Lake Michigan. The Oak Leaf Trail provides cyclists with over 135 miles of scenic trail, allowing them to ride as far north as Port Washington and as far south as Racine. The trail runs right behind ERIK’S on Kenilworth, so be sure to stop by, say hi, and pick up any supplies you need for your ride on your way out.

2. Hank Aaron State Trail
The Hank Aaron State Trail is named after one of baseball’s greatest players: Hank Aaron, also known as “Hammerin’ Hank.” The 14-mile paved trail connects the diverse neighborhoods of the greater Milwaukee area, from Lake Michigan to the Milwaukee/Waukesha County line, and provides a variety of scenic landscapes to enjoy, from urban art to river vistas.

3. Beerline Trail
At just under four miles long, the Beerline trail is a short and sweet ride that runs along the western side of the Milwaukee River. The name “Beerline” comes from the many old Milwaukee breweries that once existed in the area. Start your ride at Pleasant Street, north of downtown. Then, enjoy pedaling through Gordon Park and the Riverwest neighborhood.
