EASY STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS

Using our Buy Online — Pick up In-Store method is easy! Just follow these steps.

  1. During checkout, on the billing/shipping page, choose In-Store Pick Up and select the ERIK’S store that is convenient for you.
  2. On the payment page, select the person allowed to pick up the order. If the cardholder who placed the order will not be picking up the order, designate an authorized pick-up person.*
  3. Complete checkout.
  4. You will receive Order Confirmation and Finalized Order emails showing the store (including its address) where you will pick up your order. Please review it for accuracy. Our web team will contact you if there are any anticipated delays.
  5. Once your order is ready for pick-up, we will contact you by phone and/or email.

*NOTE: For your security, only the authorized pick-up person can pick up your order. If the cardholder who placed the order will not be picking up the order, designate an authorized pick-up person. They must bring a copy of the Finalized Order email and a valid picture ID.

BIKES, SNOWBOARD, AND SKIS — ORDER DETAILS

If you purchased a bike, snowboard, or skis using our Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store program, please note the following processes:

  • Bikes: All bikes sold at ERIK’S, including bikes sold through Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store, are thoroughly checked over by a professional mechanic. Once your bike has been checked over and is ready for pick-up, an ERIK’S staff member will contact you. Please note, not all bikes are available to Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store at all locations.
  • Snowboards: If you order a snowboard and bindings that require professional setup, we will notify you once all items are at the store. You will need to visit the store to complete the setup and sign the releases. Our service team will then get the snowboard set up for you at no charge. Please note, depending on workload at the store, you may need to come back for final pick-up.
  • Skis: If you order skis that require professional setup, we will notify you once all items are at the store. You will need to visit the store to complete the setup and sign releases. Our service team will then get the skis set up for you at no charge. Please note, depending on workload at the store, you may need to come back for final pick-up.

What items qualify for Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store?

All items on our website qualify for the Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store program. Please note, not all products are available to Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store at all locations.

What does Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store cost?

In most cases, Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store is free. If an item is not at the pick-up store or our distribution center, there may be additional charges to get the item to your selected store. We will contact you before finalizing your order if this is the case.

How do I process a Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store order?

When you are ready to check out, under the billing/shipping page select Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store from the drop-down menu. Choose the store location where you'd like to pick up your order, then continue through our checkout procedure.

Will I receive an email confirmation for my Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store order?

When you place your order online you will receive an order confirmation email. Once our web team has set up your order at the pick-up store, you will get a Finalized Order email. We will then contact you by phone and/or email once your order is ready for pick-up.

What if something I order is not in stock?

If an item you order for Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store is not available, we will contact you before finalizing your order. We will offer to substitute items, special order the item, or remove the item from your order.

Should I go to the store before I am notified my order is ready to pick up?

If you have not been notified that your order is ready to pick up, it is not ready for pick-up. But we love having you in our stores, so feel free to swing by anytime!

Where do I go to pick up my order at the store?

Any ERIK’S staff member can assist you with the pick-up, but going to the registers/front counter will get you the fastest assistance.

Can anyone come in and pick up my order?

For your security, only the authorized pick-up person can pick up your order. This is either the cardholder who placed the order or the authorized pick-up person designated on the payment page during checkout.

What does the authorized pick-up person need to bring to pick up the order?

The authorized pick-up person must have a copy of the Finalized Order email and their valid photo ID to pick up the order.

Can I pick up part of my order if there is going to be a delay on specific items?

Yes. If part of your order is going to be delayed and you would like to pick up part of your order, just let us know and we can instruct you how to do that.

What if I can't pick up my Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store order?

If you can't pick up your Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store order, please contact our web customer service team. Have your order number (from your order confirmation email) handy so we can reference your order. We will assist you in cancelling your order.

Can I have some of my items Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store and some shipped directly to me?

To do this you would need to place two orders. One order should have all the Buy Online — Pick Up In-Store items on there. The other should have all the items you want shipped to your home.

Can all the items on the website be shipped directly to a customer?

No. Due to dealer agreements, there are a number of items on our site that we cannot ship directly to you. If you have items in your cart that cannot be directly shipped, the only shipping method will be Pick Up In-Store.
