The 2025 Burton Grom Ketchup Kids’ Snowboard is all about getting kids up and riding. The beginner-friendly combo of a convex base with upturned edges and soft flex suited to kids means that even lightweight riders can get the board turning and stopping. The catch-free feeling continues with a flat profile from nose to tail that's extra stable for easier balance and board control. Burton’s Riglet accessory (sold separately) works with the 110 and 120cm models. Just attach it to the nose or tail to tow them around with or without bindings.
- Twin Shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride so you can spin and stomp with outstanding stability whether youre riding regular or switch
- Flat Top Bend provides stability, balance, and continuous edge control helping the tip and tail kick up for a catch-free and loose riding experience
- Easy Bevel gives riders a soft and forgiving board with super soft flex and a convex base that lifts the edges off the snow, making it virtually impossible to catch an edge
- Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride thats equally versatile regular or switch
- Fly Core is a classic tip-to-tail wood core that lightens the load without sacrificing flex, pop, or strength
- Biax Fiberglass features a jib-friendly, torsionally-soft flex and a forgiving feel thats great for beginning riders or the park

Hybrid- Is a combination of bends in the profile of a snowboard that change the riding characteristics for different terrains and conditions.
FLEX:

Soft Flex- 50-80 Flex. Forgiving and easier to apply pressure to while riding.
Medium Flex- 80-100 Flex. Versatile and responsive in varying conditions and terrain.
Stiff Flex- 100+ Flex. Less forgiving allowing for pressure to transfer edge to edge for a quick responsive board at high speeds.

BASE TECH
- Extruded Base - Found on most beginner and freestyle snowboards. Durable and made to be easier to repair and maintain.
- Sintered Base - Absorbs and holds wax better for more custom tuning resulting in faster performance but does require more frequent wax application.

The material in the core of a snowboard is typically made of wood or other materials that enhance how the board rides and behaves on snow.
MOUNTING
The insert formation on the snowboard determines if a binding is compatible, how it is mounted, and your range of stance options.
SHAPE
- Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail to ride the board in either direction and balanced freestyle riding.
- Directional Twin - The nose of the snowboard is the same shape and rise as the tail with the binding inserts set back for more surface area in the nose and versatility when riding in different snow conditions and terrain.
- Directional - The nose is typically longer and/or wider than the tail for float in powder and downhill riding.
