This makes the Eggbeater 3 virtually unsusceptible to corrosion, perfect for rain slogged winters and cross courses. As a result of the stainless steel body, the Eggbeater 3 is a few grams heavier than the aluminum-bodied 2, but if reliability is your greatest concern, the money will be well spent, especially when you factor in Crank Brothers' 5 year warranty!
