The 2024 K2 Hypnotist Snowboard is built for the more advanced to expert snowboarder, transitions, on hips, and on medium to large terrain park features.
The trusty tri-blend BAP core is the foundation for the Hypnotist, with Carbon DarkWeb to speed up transitions from edge to edge and tip-to-tail Carbon Backbone to increase snap.
To help you spin that extra 180 degrees, reduce swingweight, and decrease chatter in the tip and tail, the tip and tail of the core are replaced with SpaceGlass construction- lighter and harder than wood, SpaceGlass puts the Hypnotist in a league all of it’s own. We finish it all off with a wax-infused 4001 Sintered Base from Crown - the hardest, fastest, base material that they offer.
- BAP Core - A tri-blend wood core harnesses the rebound, strength, and feel of sustainably harvested Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia timber species.
- Triax Glass - A fiberglass weave intersecting at 90 angles provides the proper torsional flexibility and strength.
- Carbon DarkWeb - Carbon stringers extend at 45 angles from the inserts in an X pattern, adding responsiveness and stability at all speeds.
- Carbon Backbone - A center-aligned carbon inlay running tip to tail of the snowbaord, specifically designed to add snap and pop to every ollie and takeoff.
- Hybritech Sidewall Construction - A K2 exclusive. Transitioning from a P-Tex sidewall into a capped construction in the tip and tail reduces waste while giving snowboards better energy transfer and making them more durable than competitors boards.
- SpaceGlass Tip and Tail - A pre-cured fiberglass insert placed in the boards tip to reduce swing weight and add durability and maneuverability.
